About Us

In the year 2018 we dared to develop one mobile beer cooler. However, our original vision of using Peltier elements led to a dead end. But instead of giving up, we were inspired by this setback. Numerous intensive tests and creative developments later, we finally achieved our goal with flying colors.

This journey was more than just a technical challenge - it was a living example of innovation, tenacity and an unwavering belief in progress.

THE b-vex SOFTWARE

The b-vex drinking experience:

With the b-vex app The enjoyment experience of wine and beer lovers is taken to a new level. By simply scanning the QR code on the bottle, you will be automatically redirected to a dedicated area on the b-vex homepage.

There, users have the choice:

Either the suggested cooling settings are transmitted directly to the b-vex control or they are immersed in itfascinating promotional video of the selected drink.

In this video, an experienced wine sommelier shares his in-depth knowledge of the chosen wine and gives recommendations on the optimal drinking temperature. After cooling the wine individually, guests have the freedom to decide for themselves whether the temperature suits their preferences.

With a simple click, other products from the same wine manufacturer are presented and the user gains insights into possible independent cooling processes.

With the b-vex app, drinking becomes an informative and personalized experience where every user has control over their enjoyment.

Our energy calculation

Only17% of the energy supplied is lost - an amazingly efficient cooling process for drinks.

The energetic analysis of the cooling process of a 0.5 liter beverage can shows that an output of 488 watts is required to reduce the temperature from 22°C to 8°C within one minute.

Scaled to four such cans at the same time, the total energy requirement is 1952 watts.

Taking into account the performance of our dual cooler, an impressive scenario takes place:

Four 0.5 liter cans are cooled from 22°C to 8°C within five minutes. After this process, the system needs an additional minute to prepare for the next cooling cycle of four more cans. ​

The final calculation reveals that the average power requirement for this cycle is 325.3 watts per minute (1952 watts / 6 minutes).

This theoretical cooling capacity requirement determines that the desired cooling can be achieved. ​

In a further step, the maximum power consumption of the double cooler, which is 390 watts, is considered.

The efficiency of this system is reflected in the ratio of 325.3 watts to 390 watts, which represents a total efficiency of 83%.

This number illustrates the ability of the cooler to convert a large part of the electrical energy supplied directly into the cooling process of the drink. ​

 

The b-vex coolers are only active when they are needed. In contrast, a conventional one runs Refrigerator constantly and therefore constantly uses energy.
